Matthew J. Brasch, AIC, ARC

Matthew J. Brasch received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2000 and graduated from Bucknell University in 1996. He was an Officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard from 1996 to 2004 and was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2002.

Matt focuses his practice in regulatory, reinsurance, and transactional matters. He assists the insurance industry with regulatory compliance, form filing and licensing issues, as well as with the formation of insurance-related corporate entities. Matt also represents insurers in coverage matters and has represented insureds in product liability litigation and complex insurance defense matters, including asbestos and silica toxic tort litigation. He has been involved in appellate matters in both state and federal courts.

Matt is admitted to the State Bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the federal Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey and the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He holds the Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in Regulation and Compliance (ARC) designations and is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He is an active member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) and serves as the AICP Mid-Atlantic Chapter President. Matt regularly attends industry functions including the regular meetings of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), the AICP Annual Conference and the IRES National School on Market Regulation.
